For the quantity of vitamins and minerals, hazelnuts can be considered natural supplements. TOASTED HAZELNUTS - TONDA GENTILE ROMANA VARIETY
In the Tuscia area, in Lazio, about 40% of all national production is currently cultivated and this makes this area the most important in Italy both in terms of quality and quantity. In Tuscia we can find 2 varieties of hazelnuts: the tonda gentile romana and the nocchione.
The most widespread in this area is certainly the tonda gentile romana which represents about 90% of local production and which is particularly appreciated by industries and the confectionery market.
